1. The Doctor is back! I've been catching up on the first and second episodes of Doctor Who series 7 this week and I'm loving it. It's all very exciting and Matt Smith is ace!

2. I also caught up on New Girl series 2. I wasn't that impressed with the first episode of the series but the second was hilarious and back to its normal brilliance! I ♥ Nick!

3. I bought sunscreen. Know what that means? 4 weeks til my holibobs! Yip, in 4 weeks time I will be in Portugal, hoping for a tan and attending my friend's wedding! (If you missed the hen weekend post, it's here)

4. And because I'm going on holiday, I need to get ma bikini body oan! I know it might not be roasting hot there, but it's all part of the holiday prep for me, and I find it much easier to tone up when I'm panicked into doing it! My exercise of choice is Zumba and I'm doing it every chance I get!

5. I'm also using My Fitness Pal to keep tabs on my progress. Seeing the breakdown of what I eat and the exercise I do makes a huge difference to me and helps me to see where I'm going wrong. It's free to use and has apps too, so I can add stuff on the move.

6. Arrested Development is one of my favourite shows, so I'm really excited that series 4 will be on Netflix from 26th May!

7. Back in 2011 my friend started Aberdeen Twinema, a Twitter based cinema group. The idea was that movie fans in the Aberdeen area could get in touch with @TwinemaAberdeen and meet up to see films. Over the couple of years we saw a LOT of films (I counted 64 films last year alone), but Leanne is moving to London soon, so I'll try and take it over! If you're interested, follow Twinema on Twitter and we'll get cracking for some films next week!

8. I bought MUA Fur-Effect Nails in Fluff & Cuddles. You just tip it over your freshly painted (and still wet) nail polish, pat it down, and rub off the extra. It's not as much furry as flocked, but it looks ace!

9. Sunday was my Dad's birthday, so we had family round for tea and cake. Everybody took their turn in holding my niece Charlotte, who is now 7 weeks old. I could stare at her all day! I'm amazed at the joy she brings us all and how she strengthens our family bonds. Dad got lots of cards (including his first Grandad card) and presents, and we topped it off with a meal at the local pub, keeping within the limits of my healthy eating plan of course!

  1. This is my first time seeing your blog, and the first thing I saw was Doctor Who and Arrested Development!! Needless to say, I'm pretty jazzed to blog-stalk you!

  2. Hahaha! Nice to meet you Gwendolyn, seems we've both got great taste! :D
