Graze Boxes - Nature Delivered

I know that Graze boxes have been around for a while, but I've never mentioned them on here before and thought it was about time I bigged them up!

I found out about Graze through Twitter after a few of my friends had tried graze boxes and loved them. I got a code for a free box so there was no reason not to try it out!

Basically you sign up online, they send you a box which contains 4 smaller sealed sections containing different healthy snacks. You can "bin" any boxes you wouldn't want to receive, but I stayed open minded to start with so I could try everything!

This is the selection I received at work today: Boston Baguettes with BBQ Sauce, Fruit & Nut Case, Fruit & Seed Flapjacks and Hickory Smoked Nuts & Seeds. I LOVE these flapjacks. The boxes are sent first class through Royal Mail and arrive just in time for my morning break, so these are the first thing to be opened! I like the nuts and seeds too but haven't tried the baguettes yet.

Each time you get a box, you are sent an email so you can rate your selection either "Bin", "Try", "Like" or "Love" and this helps them decide what to send you in future. You also get a handy leaflet that tells you all the nutritional information for the snacks in your box, highlighting any key facts like low calorie or high fibre snacks.  All the snacks are suitable for vegetarians and any vegans or coeliacs can easily remove items which are unsuitable. Graze give you pointers for this in their FAQ.

Boxes can be stopped at any time or you can easily set them to be received when you want.  I now get one box a month and I've whittled my selection down to foods that I like or love.

Have you tried Graze boxes?  Do you have any favourites?

If you haven't tried them, why not give it a shot?  You can get a free box by entering voucher code BW9BHVJD at Let me know what you think!

Summer's Here!

I am feeling happy, my skin is pink and I've eaten lots of ice-cream. It can only mean one thing...

I love summer, it's my favourite season of the year! Everyone is so much happier when the sun is shining and everyone seems to go out and about and do lots more. I can't tell you how many of my friends posted pictures from the beach or a BBQ this weekend! I am a "cold-tattie", someone who feels the cold pretty much all the time so this weekend caused a lot of wardrobe confusion. What do I wear when it's hot? Where are my summer clothes?

I knew I bought lots of summer clothes but they were buried under all the autumn--winter-spring ones (which is pretty much the other season in my wardrobe!), but I found them! I would show you the amazing outfit I put together, but from the neck up I looked awful thanks to the cold :( The red nose, streaming eyes and awful skin and hair did not match up to the outfit! I hate being ill :(

Some other ace stuff happened this weekend too!

I got my very first Blythe doll! I ordered her from New Zealand and had to be patient while she went through customs (and then had to pay the charges) but she's here! I've no idea what to call her, if it doesn't hit me instantly it takes forever to name anything. If you have any suggestions, let me know!
I made her a little summery dress too! I flew by the seat of my pants on this one, making a pattern from the dress she has and using some vintage fabric my Mum gave me, but it worked out pretty well! (Note: Sewing for dolls is much more difficult than for humans!) I also got the Womble I won from Armstrongs! If you are ever in Edinburgh you have to check this shop out, it is PACKED with all sorts of vintage clothing and accessories for men and women!
My May 1st anniversary edition Glossybox arrived complete with balloon and branded mirror. I'll probably do a separate post on that though once I've tried to the products out. I got this amazing mirror necklace from Avon in the sale cos I was looking for something longer and I love it (plus you can check yourself on the go!)

And finally, this just made me smile! My brother used to have this He-Man figure when he was little and he also had a matching Skeletor where they hit each other in the chest and it rolls around to show dents. He found one during the week and quickly adopted Barney his guinea pig as the new Battle Cat!

Tell me about your weekend, were you out in the sunshine?

Free Comic Book Day 2012

I've been so busy getting on with my new vintage shop I totally forgot to tell you all about Free Comic Book Day!

I had no idea such a thing existed until I heard about it through friends on Twitter. This is what I love about Twitter, learning about things you would never have heard about otherwise, from people you haven't always met!

So Saturday May 5th was the day and I headed to local comic book store Asylum, to see what the story was. My friends Paul & Lyn were there already so explained it to me. I thought you'd get a free comic book for each one you bought or something, but there were just piles of comics you could pick from! You could take as many or as little as you like, but only one copy of each comic and in exchange you make a donation to their chosen local charity, Cosseted Critters.

So I got this haul and that wasn't even them all! (that rhymes!) The next Free Comic Book Day is on May 4th 2013 and you should definitely check it out! I'm pretty new to comic books so it's a great way to have a look at some and see what kind of ones you might like!

I also got caught up to date with my Avengers Prelude: Fury's Big Week series and got the first of the AVX Vs series.

Which leads me very smoothly to my other Avengers purchase, Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout Lego set! It took me no time at all to build it because I was in some sort of Lego building trance!

There's lots of cool moving parts to play with, but it has to go back in it's box just now because I don't have space to display it and I don't want any of it to get lost! Did you visit your local store for Free Comic Book Day?

Let's Get Whimsical!

Drumroll please...

...I've launched a new shop!

Twentythreetwo Whimsy was born from my love of all things fun and playful! I grew up in the 80s and 90s, although I'm still (and probably always will be!) very much a Peter Pan at heart!

I get family members asking "Are you not too old for that?", and I always answer "You're never too old to have fun!"

The definition of whimsy that I go by is "anything odd, extravagant, playful or fanciful" and that's what I'll always aim to bring you. All the items will be vintage and in good, pre-loved (or better) condition and I'll be adding new things regularly!

So if you're a fan of vintage, whimsy or just a big kid at heart, I'd love if you'd come and have a look at my new shop!

Also, I know that lots of you are big fans of Bloglovin and I know that you have great taste so I've signed up! Click the image below to follow me!

Etsy Treasury: Jubilee Joy!

It's Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee this year, that 60 years in the same job!

Hopefully a lot of us will have fun plans for the Jubilee weekend (2nd–5th June 2012) and maybe a day or two off work to watch the event! What are your plans? Mine will most definitely involve tea and cake and hopefully a tiara!

Dressed To The Max(i)

Despite the dodgy weather, I've fancied a maxi skirt for a long time but I'm pretty short and was worried they'd make me look frumpy, so I always avoided them.

I'd seen this black maxi skirt in New Look so decided to try it on with a few things to see how I could wear it and really liked it paired with this blue rope strap vest. I tucked the vest in and pulled it out a little. I tried putting my long cardigan over the top, but that just made me look shapeless, so it was back to the drawing board for cover-ups.

I bought this fab grey blazer to wear with blue jeans a white tee, and a grey & pink sweater and zebra bag in the sale. I think they're both sold out online but I got mine in store for £7 and £6.

I also found the floral jacket from my last post in store and tried it on with the green jeans but it just didn't suit me :(

My next stop was H&M. By this time I was in a rush so just started grabbing random stuff off the rails to try on!

I bought three vests to go with my maxi skirt. One was just a plain black one and the other two are similar to the style of the one shown but in the creamy leopard print pattern and the print with little multi-coloured cheetahs all over it! I can't give you links because the tops don't seem to be on the H&M site. I really wish they'd put a search on there too cos it's a nightmare to find things!

I think I've also solved my cover-up problems with this denim jacket. It kinda dresses it all down and because of the length it doesn't look shapeless. The final touch will be this nail polish in "Chicaboomboom" which is a totally popping bright orange!

Do you have any tips for what I could wear with my maxi skirt? What's on your shopping list for this month?

What A Girl Wants...

New Look is one of my "go to" shops for clothes cos they always have current, funky stuff in a size that fits and is comfy! Their prices are also really good and you can pick up some good bargains in their sales! What's your favourite clothes shops?

1. Rich Purple Supersoft Skinny Jeans £22.99
2. Tan Cross Body Bag £12.99
3. Green Skinny Jeans £16.99
4. Coral Heart Bracelet £4.99
5. White Sleeveless Lace Top £14.99
6. Long Spike and Diamanté Earrings £3.99
7. Black Metal Stud Bandeau Bikini Top £19.99

I am a big fan of coloured jeans, which is amazing considering I lived in black jeans until about a year ago! The green jeans look amazing with that jacket but it's nowhere to be seen on the site :( I've seen a few floral jackets lately though so it shouldn't be to hard to find an alternative.

The bikini top and spike earrings appeal to my rocker side and I've ordered a fake leather full skirt which I think will go amazingly well with this white lace vest tucked in and some sexy heels!

What do you reckon?
